News & Notes – ACF’s Historic Newsletter 

“News & Notes” was the official newsletter of the Australian Callers Federation (ACF), the national body representing square dance callers across Australia.

Although the newsletter is no longer actively published, its legacy remains.

The spirit of caller-focused communication continues today.
For example, Barry Wonson edits, Behind the Mike, a modern Australian caller newsletter with an accessible online archive.
This continuity highlights the enduring tradition of sharing knowledge, training, and community updates among callers, even as formats evolve from print to digital.
