    Every dance you’ll be paired up different people in your square, so you’ll quickly get to know everyone.

  • Those big skirts, bolo ties, and western shirts etc are totally optional at most modern square dance clubs, it’s  casual and come-as-you-are.
    Wear what makes you comfortable to move in.
    At club nights, you’ll see folks in jeans, shorts, sneakers, and t-shirts.
    However, Only at State and National Square Dance Conventions, there are more formal dress requirements.
    Soft-soled shoes are essential for all.
